Guduchi is a climbing vine whose other Sanskrit name, amrita, means the nectar of immortality — not a modest claim, and a measure of how highly the tradition rates it. The part used is the stem, which it sends down in long aerial roots.

It is a rasayana, bitter and cooling, and one of the most common herbs in the Banyan formulas we carry.
